iPhone is crack

Got an iPhone for christmas and absolutely love it. If you don't have one you need to get one. There is nothing like it. I don't believe i've looked up many times since I got it

But the magic is this... My father almost never speaks but you start talking about some dumb game on this phone and he comes alive. Social dynamics at it's finest. LOL

So this post is pretty pointless and I am not really a reviewer of things at heart but the iPhone is perfect and it deserves to be talked about

Christmas with the relatives

It can be quite much staying with the relatives for just a few days. I believe I am on day three and very near killing my youngest cousin. Also over a week without the girlfriend that Ive spent every day with for three months.

Hope that I survive!

The Gift of Fear

My girlfriend let me borrow a book she had mentioned and I stated I would like. It once again confirmed my thoughts I laid out in my last post. People can connect the fact that people others have problems (mentally) and may even seem normal, but for some reason they can never connect the fact that they could be one of them.... they can never be wrong.

I do think that I am invariably right on things. However, I also discovered this piece about human nature and since a friend drastically altered my life a year ago teaching me I was all kinds of wrong on my view of life, I have since develope a habit of always challenging my views to insure I am not a stubborn mule like others.

The book isn't exactly just about perspective, more about intuition and fear... a GREAT read and I've just started in. The book did catch me on this topic though.

Everyone is right, you are Wrong!

As a young college male that is right about everything I'm amazed to discover a piece of my genius that seems such an everyday application of knowledge is known, and accepted, by almost no one. Perhaps it is the piece of knowledge itself that prevents its own discovery and spread....

People ALWAYS believe they are right!

Let me elaborate a little. My mother is the hardest working woman in the world. She wakes up early in the morning and gets straight to cleaning the house, doing paperwork, taxes... something. BUT she is always, always working. The fact is that she never sits down to take a break, rest for a split second, or enjoy a moment of her life. The only time she sits is do eat her meals for a brief moment.

Here is where my point comes in. That is the core of my mother. That is exactly who she is. I have defended her in arguments over these points when people said their parents worked harder or anyone challenged it. The sad reality that I have recently discovered is people always believe they are right, that includes me and the beliefs my mother forced down me since my birth. I believed she was that woman because SHE TOLD ME SHE WAS, over and over and over again. I've started to come out of her constant babble to note that she waste an enormous amount of time on small tasks that never needed to be done and not until now did I challenge the idea that shopping 5 hours a day, 3 days a week might not just be a chore that had to be done.

Now realize that we are navigating through a world where everyone is right and people will fight for their rightness no matter how wrong they may be... This includes yourself. So have an open mind, constantly challenge your own ideas, concepts, beliefs, everything.
